Chapter 548: Army of Origin, How did they reach seventh rank?

Chapter 548: Army of Origin, How did they reach seventh rank?

This went beyond his expectations.

No, it absolutely shattered the things he once knew about and the very concept of time itself.

The fact that the Peerless Yellow Dragon Fate Technique activated and formed a connection to the other side of the portal meant only one thing.

The Army of Origin... they were people of the Azure Origin Planet. The exact same planet that he weaved and seized control of with his own hands.

Grey chuckled dryly. The fact that his Creator Invocation Space resonated with the army was the proof.

He was the Faceless One, yet why did it seem like everything around him was fated to happen?

It was uncanny. Perhaps it was due to the fact that he now knew there was a mastermind behind it all, the owner of the spatial auroras. But he was especially sensitive to things being too coincidentally connected.

Now, this gave him a bad feeling.

"To be able to casually birth seventh-rankers like this, they are a very formidable civilization," Alan commented. "Not to mention, they also have access to World Breaking Source Power."

"The person behind this civilization must not be ordinary," Alan spoke with a narrowed tone.

Anthony and Isabelle stood in their own fleet alongside the soldiers and other important figures of NeoStar.

They all wore grim expressions as they faced the Army of Origin experts. The seventh-rank aura was unmistakable. The fact that they could not do anything to them weighed heavily upon them.

The entire planet they owned could be crushed with a single look from a seventh-rank expert. They were completely at their mercy.

"I really should have taken the initiative to go over to the other galaxy to make contact with the aliens," Anthony said with a sigh.

He could travel through space effortlessly. He was a sixth-rank being after all. But across each galaxy, there was a thin layer of cosmic shielding that separated them. Breaking through it took a bit of effort. Jasmine had stopped him, saying there were powerful beings there and they could not possibly negotiate.

"Are Miss Jasmine’s friends not also from the other galaxy?" Isabelle asked. "Maybe he has a way."

Anthony chuckled. "Have we sunk so low that our only hope is an alien kid who is not even at the fifth rank?"

It was pretty depressing. They were still far too weak, and he doubted Miss Jasmine’s friends could do anything.

Just then, everyone’s attention turned to the center of the area.

Grey stood there in mid-air, immediately catching the attention of the Army of Origin.

The people who were with Grey were also confused. Was he going to take action?

He suddenly wore a shocked expression and began mumbling to himself. They thought it was quite strange.

The man leading the Army of Origin looked up to Grey. He spoke in a stern tone once more.

"Are you the representative of this world? Are you ready to surrender to the Azure Origin Empire?" the man asked.

"How did you reach the seventh rank?" Grey asked in a curious tone. "I am aware that when you spread your path into lower planes, people can connect to the Creator Space to take the evolutionary path as long as they follow it. But I have not even published the sixth rank, let alone the seventh."

"???" The man looked at Grey in a totally confused manner.

However, just as quickly, he froze. So did the other people around him. They all glanced at each other and began talking amongst themselves.

"H-hey, does that man not look like the statue of the Lord?"

"He does!" another seventh-rank being spoke.

They were stupefied. They could not believe their eyes.

The men took a small, awkward U-turn and stared deeply at Grey.

"WE GREET LORD GREY." They all bowed in unison toward Grey in a highly respectful manner.

"???" The NeoStar forces and even the people in Alan’s reality ship wore baffled looks on their faces.

"What is this?" Jasmine exclaimed as her mouth widened in shock.

The Army of Origin, which consisted of seventh-rankers and sixth-rankers, actually knew Grey and even directly addressed him as "Lord"?

What did "Lord" signify here? Did this not just mean he owned the world behind this Army of Origin... did it not?

Alissa looked at this speechlessly, not knowing what to say.

How come this guy had followers everywhere he went?

Hell, even a powerful civilization was not exempt from being his follower!

"We have been searching for you everywhere, Lord Grey," the man in the front spoke.

"You gave life to our planet and even left your powerful evolutionary powers there. We as a planet and its people began to evolve rapidly. We conquered countless universes in your name and reached the seventh plane of existence."

"We are now just one step away from becoming an eighth plane of existence."

"The Snow Empress and the others have spread your words far and wide. Everyone now follows your teaching, Lord Grey," the man spoke.

"The Snow Empress? You mean the northern continent expert?" Grey blinked. He recognized that woman; she was the one who took him to Tian Yuan’s stronghold.

"Yes. We belong to the Snow Empress’s faction," the man spoke.

"What rank are she and the others right now?" Grey asked casually.

"They are at the fifth rank."

"As I thought." Grey nodded. "They are not stronger than you because you achieved your seventh-rank power through unusual means, did you not?"

"Yes." The man nodded with an apologetic tone. "Forgive me for not answering your question earlier. But I believe this matter should be discussed within your own empire, Lord Grey. We can cross over to there at any time," the man said as he pointed at the portal.

"The World Breaking Source Power we have access to is also thanks to you," the man said with a smile.

"Oh?" Grey became even more curious upon hearing this.

"Alright. I will come over. You guys head back and tell the Snow Empress," Grey replied as he turned to go back into the reality ship.
